Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

 ***Contains Spoilers***

Cath and Wren are identical twins, and until recently they did absolutely everything together. Now they're off to university and Wren's decided she doesn't want to be one half of a pair any more - she wants to dance, meet boys, go to parties and let loose. It's not so easy for Cath. She's horribly shy and has always buried herself in the fan fiction she writes, where she always knows exactly what to say and can write a romance far more intense than anything she's experienced in real life.

Now Cath has to decide whether she's ready to open her heart to new people and new experiences, and she's realizing that there's more to learn about love than she ever thought possible ...

Rating: ★★★★☆

lets start of with the fact that this book is really relatable!

when I started reading this I just couldn't bring myself to finish it. thats why I'm giving it 4 start instead of five. it was a really good book and I loved it, but I just had a hard to getting in to it.

lets start with Cath, I really liked that name actually. and her character was the most relatable of them all. she evolved big time through the story and thats a really good thing. I liked how Rainbow Rowell made her so obsessive with simon and baz.

her twin sister Wren was pretty awesome to. even though she wasn't such a fangirl like Cath was she was still a good sister. it was a shame that at some point that had a fight and hardly talked. what I didn't like about Wren was the drinking part. I'm not the kind of person who likes alcohol anyway and to put it in a story and that person gets wasted well its just not my thing. except that minor thing Wren was still the kind of person you could laugh about and enjoy reading about.

the love story in this books was cute but at the same time it disappointed me. especially with that Nick dude. he just pissed me off the way he treated Cath.

I liked Levi a lot he was sweet but at the same time he had something that you just got pulled in the story.

I also enjoyed the fact that she dragged harry potter and numerous other books in her book. it made you feel al happy when you see that she put references in. for example '' she who must not be named'' I really liked that a lot! like not normal I made my heart skip a beat.

when Wren nearly died in the book I wanted to stop reading. mostly because the reason she almost died was close to my heart. I've almost lost my brother because of the same reason and it really hurt me a lot. the difference between the age Cath and I were when it happened makes it different but to relateble on my account.

there is just one other thing that bothered me. when profession piper said that Cath basicly was stealing character because she writes fanfic she pissed me off big time. I understand that those characters are not ours to use. but still we loved the story and if we right fanfic about it means the writer did a great job. it makes us want to write our own part of the story we enjoyed and have lived through. I've written fanfic for awhile and I can't explain how much I loved to do that.
